Terms of Service

These terms apply to purchases from Bergen Outlet, located at 568 Commerce St, Franklin Lakes, NJ.

About our products
We sell open box, overstock, and scratch and dent appliances, furniture, and equipment sourced from major retailers. Our items are not first quality retail stock. Cosmetic condition varies from unit to unit and is described in each listing.

Each listing states whether a unit has been tested. Units described as untested have not been powered on or run by us. Cosmetic damage is disclosed in the listing and shown in the photos.

No manufacturer warranty is offered, implied, or included with any unit sold by Bergen Outlet. Any coverage a manufacturer may or may not provide is between the manufacturer and the buyer.

Pricing and availability
Retail prices referenced in our listings are the manufacturer or original retailer price and are provided for comparison only. Inventory is limited and most items are one of a kind. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and fully refund any order for an item that is no longer available.

Pickup and delivery
Orders are picked up at 568 Commerce St, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday by appointment. Delivery options are available upon request.

Buyers are responsible for confirming that a unit fits their space and that their power, water, gas, and venting hookups match the requirements listed. Requirements are noted in each listing.

Returns
Washers and dryers may be returned within 5 days of pickup for store credit. All other appliances and equipment are final sale. Full terms are in our Return and Refund Policy.

Installation and use
We do not install units and are not responsible for installation. Appliance installation involving gas, water, or electrical connections should be performed by a qualified installer in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local code.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bergen Outlet's liability for any claim relating to a unit sold is limited to the purchase price paid for that unit.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
